Stimuvital Shell Improver
Overview
An egg's shell is roughly 95% calcium carbonate — a 60g egg requires 2.3g of calcium to form. Hens store 99% of their body calcium in bone and draw on it overnight when the shell is forming, with only 60–70% of shell calcium coming directly from the diet on shell-forming days. As hens age, egg size increases while shell thickness declines, driving cracked and downgraded eggs. Stimuvital Shell Improver (StimuVital IP) is an in-water calcium and Vitamin D₃ supplement that supports calcium metabolism and helps sustain eggshell quality through the lay cycle.
